Day 1

The kids are already having a blast! So far everything is great. All of our rooms have a view of the pool & ocean and some have balconies that are really nice! Everyone had a little time to hang out and eat then we had our first session. The stage setup & tech stuff is AMAZING. The camp theme is TIME and tonight Jared Heard used the scripture Matthew 25:14-30 and talked to the students about:
1. Time indicates that a story is being told.
2. Time is a nonrenewable resource.
3. When God gave us time, He gave us the ability to create a story. It's a precious gift.
The big question was: What story are you telling with the way you spend your time?

I apologize for not having more pictures of your kids today, but here are some from this evening. At the end of the week I will put up every picture I have taken so you can get any you want! Thanks for letting your students come and hang out for the week to experience God in a new way!
