Final Week - What Not to Wear

Sorry guys! I accidentally posted this to my blog instead of the youth blog! :)

We wrapped up our What Not to Wear series by talking about wearing things that don't fit. Remember that the people you hang out with influence you - for the good or bad. You will start to display the same characteristics as your friends the more you hang out with them. Surround yourself with close friends that can keep you accountable and encourage you and positively influence you.

What Not to Wear - Bad Character

Remember: ANYBODY CAN BE EVERYBODY

Would you give yourself the stroke even if no one else saw? Be the person God created you to be. Anybody can cheat, look at things you shouldn't when no one is around, tell a lie to get out of trouble. God created you to be honest. To do what is right even when no one is watching.

What Not to Wear - Pride

Hey Driven Youth! This past Wednesday we talked about not wearing pride. Often times when we get overwhelmed with life "stuff" because we are trying to do too much on our own. We forget that we have limits. You are not enough on your own. God wants to be your strength. We are dependent on Him to make us complete. Remember your limits this week. And remember that you are not enough on your own. You need God! And with His help, you can change the world!

Week 1: What not to wear on a date. Don't forget to dress up in your best "what not to wear on a date" outfit! (no hoochie clothes!....we know those aren't to be worn on a date! :))

Camp Photos!!

I have created a youth site to upload pictures onto not only for camp, but other events and things we do. The site is:

Most of your parents received an email with the password to the site in it. If not, email, text, or ask me on Wednesday for it. (my email is parker.emily@hotmail.com)

Click on "view album" to see the pictures as thumbnails. Once there you can select pictures and order prints. You can also click on the picture to make it bigger, select it from there to order prints, or click "download" (on the right) to download it to your computer so you can print it from home or upload it somewhere else for your use. Please let me know if you have any questions!

Also, on the home page at the top right you will find an option "Add Pictures" You can create a Shutterfly account & upload your youth pictures to share with others. Please upload pictures from youth events only onto this site. (or we will have to remove the option)
